Historia

Established in 1992, MMD is the only writer-based organisation in Britain dedicated to the development and presentation of new musical theatre with over 260 members. MMD is an integral part of the British theatre scene, providing a broad range of developmental and showcase opportunities including the annual MMD Song Cycle and The Stiles & Drewe Best Song Prize. In 2012 MMD became a National Portfolio Organisation supported by Arts Council England in partnership with Musical Theatre Network.
