In late 2017 I did a moderately mad thing and signed myself up for a FULL marathon. No, I have never done a half marathon. No, I am not what many would describe as a runner. YES, I am going to try and finish the marathon anyway! Managing to just about run 10.6 miles in 1hr55mins today (04/03/18), I have a very intense road of training ahead to being able to do the 26.2 miles across the finish line on the 27th May 2018 up in Edinburgh (less than 3 months away!!!!!). It would be wonderful to raise some money along the way for the fantastic charity that is The Listening Place. TLP is a charity offering support for people who feel like life is no longer worth living. In aid of my questionable choice to take on what my body is telling me is going to be one hell of a challenge and in support of a fantastic cause please donate what you can, all contributions appreciated!
