In a blur of excitement, pain relief drugs, lucozade and lager after last years marathon, I signed up again. It came as a huge shock to actually get in again!!
2014's "effort" was around 4 hours 30 minutes, though I did run about 28 miles due to the weaving from side to side to high 5 everyone and keep updated on the Liverpool vs Man City game, seeing my two boys at the end who thought it must be easy to do "because I hadn't collapsed".
Very humbled by the stories and reasons so many people had to be running that day, from Tony the Fridge, to the crazy lad who was wearing his trainers for the first time.
I've chosen to run on behalf of Leeds Children's Charity, the local charity for Leeds Aviva, and worthy of all the support we can give.
Thank you to each and every person who sponsors me.
