Friends of Chernobyl's Children (Lancaster) brings children from areas of Belarus still contaminated by the 1986 Chernobyl disaster to stay with host families for respite care. The children are in such need, especially at the present time, not only with covid restrictions but also sanctions and travel bans imposed upon the country. The charity has no overheads and no-one gets paid, so all the money raised is guaranteed to be used to help the children.
