Story

We have provided a traveling Santa for Market Harborough for 52 years this year whilst always collecting funds for ourselves and a nominated charity - we desperately want to run again this year as much as the rules will allow. This is our main fundraising event of the year, and helps us to maintain our hut, provide camping and activities for our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, and it also allows us to keep our subs down. This year's sleigh will be different to comply with the latest Coronavirus advice Santa will hopefully travel the streets as usual (routes will be posted soon) BUT this year we will not be knocking on your door so please come outside and shout and wave your support, we will have collection tins if you want to run up and throw cash in the bucket but sadly we CANNOT allow children to get on the sleigh like they would usually, to protect both you the public and our aging Santa (he is quite old).
