From a young age, I have always been taught about the importance of serving others and recognising how fortunate I am to live in a country like the United Kingdom. Recently I went travelling around Europe for the first time, on my own as a solo female traveller. Everywhere I went what really made it for me was the people. I talked to people in severe poverty in Kosovo and financial hardship in Albania. I saw people struggling in Bosnia yet when I had no cash, they offered to pay for my bus fare and give me directions when I was lost in the middle of the mountains. This is why I want to give back. In April 2025, I will also be running the London Marathon for International Needs. This will involve running 26 miles around London, all of which will go to charity. I have never run a marathon in my life. This is both an endeavour for the charity as well as for myself in pushing my body to its physical and mental limits. But I am up for the challenge! My aim is to raise £1600 and any contributions, however small you may believe it is, will go further than you may think! Thank you for visiting our Givey page.
