2018-2019 I have ran the New York and Tokyo marathon ran countless Half Marathons and Paris marathon still yet to complete, finally the challenge will conclude by walking the Great Wall of China in September. All of this is in aid of an amazing charity called "One woman at a Time" This charity involves women and girls in Kenya, India and the UK who are at risk of forced marriage, Female Genital Mutilation and domestic abuse. Our aim is to listen to women, hear what they need in terms of educational, emotional and financial support and offer opportunities to create choices. In partnership with local NGOs we offer women and girls grants and bursaries to go to school, university, nursing college and on vocational training courses. Where women have suffered post traumatic stress through gender based violence we offer support and funding for psychologists and TTT therapists (Trauma Through Tapping). ​We also aim to improve health and obstetric care and have given medical supplies and funded training for nurses and midwives. Leanne Brown will be heading up the Wall of China Charity Trek and will be joined by approx 20 other people, All donations are very welcome no matter the value .. even £1 can make a change. It is important to say all these events have been self funded by me personally so you can be assured every penny donated will go direct to the charity .. Thank you so much x
