Launchpad provides safe, secure accommodation and other essential support to homeless veterans in the UK to help them make a successful transition to civilian life.
The charity has three houses: Avondale House in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, which comprises 33 self-contained one-bedroom flats; Speke House in Liverpool accommodating 48 residents in self-contained flats; and Hollyacre House in Durham, which includes 13 self-contained one-bedroom flats and one flat for 5 people.
Since 2013, the charity has supported over 550 veterans (at Jan 2022).
