Historia

To preserve or assist in the preservation of life in, on and near water, primarily but not exclusively in the United Kingdom, by the provision of aid and assistance to those in need of rescue and by any other means that the trustees see fit. For the purpose of this clause the term ‘water’ is not limited to water in its simple form and may include other mediums such as mud, quicksand, slurry pits, ice, snow or solids which may react and flow as a liquid such as sand. The trustees have the power to interpret the term water as they deem fit.
