I am walking 24 miles across the South Downs on Saturday 10th May to raise funds to take some of our wonderful mums from B@titude to work with and support some wonderful mums in a gypsy village in Csekefalva, Romania. We will be taking a mini bus full of childrens clothes, toys and equipment in September to support some of the women, teaching them vital skills and encouraging them, building confidence and bringing much needed supplies. These families are the poorest of the poor, with many of the young mums not being parented themselves after coming from a childrens home. It will be such a fantastic opportunity to build friendships between our community of mums here and those in Csekefalva. I am a part of a team who are doing many different fundraisers for this project but I would l would like to raise 240 (10 for every mile I walk) Can you sponsor me a few quid?
