Urras Chille Mhoire | Kilmuir Community Trust exists to promote three strands of development in the local area. Social development : re-establishing Kilmuir Hall at the heart of the community, running a variety of events, and supporting volunteers who are the backbone of our community. Cultural development : promoting the Gaelic language and culture, as well as the history of the area, for visitors and newcomers to the area, and creating opportunities for non-speakers to learn, speakers of the language to use it and ensure Gaelic continues to thrive as a community language. Economic development: working with various agencies to create employment opportunities and develop social housing in the local area.
