About
As you may have heard, the Department of Social Development in SA is on strike. What does this mean to NGOs? (Charities) All payments are delayed indefinitely and while this strike is in effect no funding commitments from the department will be honoured. What this means to Khaya Centre is that we have no funds to provide meals for the 450 kids in our Orphans and Vulnerable Children program. It cost 56p to feed a child at Khaya each day, thats £252 a day they need to find to maintain what they do. We and Khaya really appreciate your donation at this time. We hope that the governmental strikes that are inhibiting the release of funds will not last long. Be assured that every penny donated will be used for the children and families of the Khaya Centre and Lehae area. Thank you for "simply changing lives" Moira, Esther and all the extended Khaya family;-) Thank you for visiting our Givey page. When you make your donation through Givey, the Charity receives 100% of the donation. Your details are safe with Givey and donating is completely secure. Whatsmore, they never share your email address with any third parties except the Charity you donate to.
