Dear Friends
I am preparing for the Celtic Challenge - a 200 mile cycle from Edinburgh to Iona over 4 days in May, in order to raise money St Columba's Hospice.
As you may know the Hospice is not funded in the same way as the NHS, and needs to raise over half of its funds from ventures such as this.
Whilst I'm looking forward to the scenery and revisiting Iona, and hoping for benevolent weather, the trip will be a real "challenge" for me as it will be my first attempt at any long distance cycling. My daily maximum before this was an occasional pedal across town to the Royal Infirmary.
I will be contributing the full cost of my expenses involved in the challenge.
Thank you very much for visiting my page with Givey where 100% of your donation and any associated tax that is reclaimed will go to St Columbas.
Best wishes
Karen
