Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!
On 21st September I will be running a Tough Mudder in order to raise money towards the Nile 2021 expedition in support of the Nile 2010 Charity. I, alongside 4 others, will be taking on the 8 mile run which includes multiple obstacles and copious amounts of mud along the way. Having not run much more than 5km in the last 5 years (if not longer) this should be quite some challenge!
The Nile 2010 Charity was set up as the result of a scout expedition to Uganda in 2010 to build the Jinja Vocational Training Centre in Lubanyi, Uganda. The aim of the school is to train those no longer in secondary education (whether through insufficient funds, bad health or other reasons) in practical, vocational skills such as wood joinery, brick laying, seamstressing and hairdressing; thus providing the students with a means of earning employment upon graduation.

In 2021, the charity will be sending it's 3rd expedition to Uganda. Following the development of the main school building in 2010 and a further 2 workshops in 2016, 2021 will aim to provide dormitories for students who have to travel significant distances to attend school.
Each member of the expedition aims to raise £2,500 to further the development of the Vocational Centre. I hope you can help me reach my target. Hugs and squeezes for your help :)
