Jase and I are completing a 10k walk for Marie Curie Cancer Care on 8th August 2015 again. We have decided to support this wonderful charity as we've met many people in the past who have or would have benefitted from free palliative care in their own homes. One hour of having a Marie Curie nurse with a terminally ill person costs the charity around £20. Nurses stay with the terminally ill person through the night, an 8 hour shift which starts at 10pm. This service does not only ensure that the ill person is looked after and comfortable, it also gives their families much needed respite in very difficult times. Please help us raise money to fund Marie Curie nurses and sponsor our Walk to Remember 2015. All donations, however big or small, are very much appreciated!
