Historia

Jacari is a student-based charity in Oxford that provides one-on-one tuition for local children who don't speak English as their first language. These children, often seeking asylum in Britain, are assigned a Jacari tutor - a volunteer from the student body, and as a result, develop essential language skills and self-esteem. We are currently supporting more than 180 children and young people in this way.
