Story

I Support You Trust is a small charity which aims to prevent and relieve poverty in Sri Lanka by providing grants, items & services to individuals and to communities in need. We provide grants to nearly 40 families every month to meet their basic needs of meal, shelter and medicine regardless of race, colour or religion. These families have been selected and monitored carefully by the volunteer management group in Sri Lanka who are mostly school teachers and principals who have local knowledge of the children and families we help. The Trust also provides one off grants, machines and items to selected individuals to set up their own businesses at home so they can be self-sufficient. We also organise days to distribute essential items like food, clothing and educational items. So far we have helped over 60 families in various ways but are in need of more funds to support more people in need. We believe in simplicity and giving 100% of the donations to its beneficiaries with no admin/management fee charged.
