Story
Lincoln & Lindsey Blind Society is a local independent charity providing services to visually impaired people in Lincoln, East Lindsey, West Lindsey, North and North East Lincolnshire. Over many years, the Society has identified that severely sight impaired (blind) and sight impaired (partially sighted) people need: Information tailored to their individual circumstances. Specific skills training. Special equipment; some of it basic, some quite sophisticated. Skilled help from staff trained to recognise and assess basic needs and who are available to advise, counsel, and plan a programme of rehabilitation. Improved confidence in all matters affecting life as blind or partially sighted people, through self-help and mutual support, and through the availability of specifically tailored services.
