I am going to be jumping out of a plane and I am already terrified!

On 30/05/2021 myself and a few other kind/crazy souls are doing a sponsored skydive to raise money for our wonderful charity, Family Based Solutions. We have been hit hard by the pandemic and our tenancy at our office is under threat. If we do not have our office, we cannot conduct face to face sessions with the families we support and that puts the whole charity at risk.

We work with some of the most vulnerable families in Enfield and beyond, who are experiencing child to parent abuse (CPA). We work with the families to end the abuse by using the Solution Focused Brief Therapy approach. The impact we have for such a tiny charity is incredible and I am so honoured and proud to work in such an amazing team, doing such worthwhile and important work. CPA is often overlooked, ignored or treated as taboo, but with early intervention families can move forward and children flourish in to the amazing young people that they want to be.

I am pretty scared of heights and quite scared of aeroplanes in general, so this is going to be a big, big thing for me! We'd be so grateful for any donations.
