IDE-UK helps poor farming families in Africa and Asia to escape from poverty by doubling their income. We design and market very low-cost products, such as irrigation technologies, for families living on less than 60p a day. These products help them move from living hand to mouth to growing extra produce to sell at local markets for a good price. A more secure income leads to better nutrition, improved health and being able to send their children to school, often for the first time.
