Hyde Park Source are an innovative, creative and dynamic environmental community organisation working across Leeds. We work with local communities to improve their surroundings, designing and creating attractive, exciting, safe and useful places for people to live, work and play.

Improving the wellbeing of people and communities is at the heart of what we do. Through our work we facilitate the Five Ways to Wellbeing, encouraging people and communities to Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give.

We are also a Permaculture LAND Centre.

Objectives Develop community resources - derelict, under used or hazardous areas are transformed into functional spaces for the benefit of the community. Provide meaningful work experience opportunities for volunteers. Offer training and development support to local people wanting to improve their skills and increase their chances in life. Support and facilitate community action to build stronger communities with more active citizens working together to tackle their problems. Help individuals and communities become more healthy and more active. Encourage community involvement in designing and developing regeneration projects, thus enhancing community pride and cohesion. Help integrate marginalised individuals, having gained skills and made new networks. Facilitate different sections of the community working together on common goals/objectives and get to understand each other better.
