Historia

The Huntington's Disease Association is a national registered charity which offers help, support and advice to families and strives to improve the understanding of Huntington's disease (HD) and its implications to relevant decision makers and professionals in the caring field. HD is a neurological disorder; it is a hereditary disease, which is caused by a faulty gene; each child of an affected parent, has a 50-50 chance of inheriting the gene. There is no cure at the present time.
