Hull Samaritans provides confidential emotional support, 24 hours a day, for local people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which may lead to suicide or self harm. In 2005 Hull Samaritans received over 21,000 contacts from people in emotional distress, and our vision is for a society in which fewer people die by suicide and where people are able to explore their feelings.
