Huddersfield Mission is a charity which acts as a hub for vulnerable members of society and serves the town centre by providing a venue for meetings and events.
Our Mission Cafe provides a safe, warm and supportive environment to around 75 customers each day, serving nutritious meals at affordable prices. Advice and support is available on a wide range of issues including supporting those affected by recent changes to welfare benefits. Some of our customers are social isolated due to one or more of the following issues: Mental health, physical disability, financial poverty, homelessness, alcohol or drug issues or a sudden life crisis.
We run a range of activity group from art to Space to Talk, from Cafe Writers to jewellery making and lots more. You can see some of the work of our activity groups on our facebook page www.facebook.com/huddersfieldmission.
The Mission is a busy community resource with over 1,000 users per week; and about 120 organisations meet here regularly throughout the year. To book a meeting room contact us on 01484 421461
