Historia

The aim of Home-Start East Herts is to give every parent the support they need to give their children under 5 the best possible start in life. Volunteers visit families in their own homes for 2-3 hours a week to provide friendship, emotional support & practical help. Our families are often isolated & lack confidence or have complex problems & volunteers can encourage them to make friends in the community. Families can ask for support themselves or be referred by a professional working with them.
