Help us shelter those most vulnerable in our community. We need your support today. Over the last few months our services has rapidly expanded with the needs of our clients, however, our facilities have not. This means we are in desperate need of supporters to help us create an emergency accommodation modules to support our homeless and destitute project. Home, which once served as our refuge, is no longer a sanctuary for most of us. We return home to a deluge of mail, bills, telephone messages and chores. Cell phones and email connect us constantly with the outside world, at the same time interrupting our contact with our families. In some homes, the TV is on constantly, blaring news of upsetting events and life and death dramas. How your support will help To flourish, we all need a safe place — both physically and emotionally — to come home to. Living without a home of your own is a devastating experience. But sleeping without a home is downright difficult. Some of these places receive media attention. Others may surprise you. But all of these overnight accommodations are completely unacceptable for regular human habitation. Making a Difference for Someone Sleeping on the Streets Helping the homeless is something most of us think about doing when we encounter someone living with homelessness on the street. Maybe it’s in the moment, or sometime soon after we feel like we should do something to help, but many people aren’t sure of the best way to lend a helping hand.
