We are fundraising for our Hedge Fund! Hedges provide vital wildlife corridors that connect our fragmented landscape and woodlands. We urgently need to plant more hedges to increase biodiversity and create these important wildlife corridors. Our fund will be used to help plant and protect hedges to connect existing woodlands and new planting sites to create a wildlife nature corridor network within Calderdale. We aim to plant over 1km of new hedging every year with a wide variety of species to provide a rich habitat and resource for food and pollen for wildlife.
