The Headland team is running Hackney Half Marathon on 8th May, to raise money for Nijera Shikhi (Nishi). Nishi is working to eradicate adult illiteracy in Bangladesh with a highly effective, low cost learning method which fosters self-help and entrepreneurship. This technique combined with the efforts of 40,000 volunteers has enabled more than 1,000,000 people to become literate, improving their livelihood and wellbeing.
