Story

Harrogate Gateway Football Club is one of two leisure clubs run by Harrogate & District Mencap. Its aim is to provide football opportunities for adults with a learning disability in the Harrogate area. HGFC is an FA Charter Standard Club and is a member of the West Riding County FA Ability Counts Football League. It is also affiliated to Special Olympics GB and is responsible for running Mencaps National football team. It also runs one of the largest annual disability football tournaments in the country.
