I am raising funds for International Needs UK because I want to help bring a better future to people suffering around the world. I spent some time in rural Tanzania 25 years ago and met people who materially had very little compared to us in the UK but who faced their challenges with such joy and generosity that I was completely humbled. I want to do what I can to support projects that will help people like them have a more secure future through providing education and skills. I am not a natural runner and this is going to be a huge challenge for me, so I am hoping you will encourage me to persevere by making a donation.
