Earlier this year our 7 year old niece Lily was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Throughout the journey Lily has shown incredible strength fighting this awful disease and there have been so many amazing charities that have supported Lily and the family. One of these charities being The Harry Johnson Trust. The Harry Johnson Trust It is a local charity in Shrewsbury that help families that have been affected by cancer in a whole number of ways. They provide hampers to help families in their first few nights at hospital with things that, in the worry of getting to hospital, they may have forgotten; create soft pillows for children who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy; provide vouchers for children and their families to go to local restaurants or buy a toy for hospital that they may not be able to afford due to the financial pressures cancer can bring and fund the beads of courage program at The Princess Royal Hospital in Telford to name a few. I want to raise money to support this charity so they can continue helping families affected by this horrible disease so I am going to be swimming 100k in 100 days.
