Hand on Heart's mission is simple: to prevent 12 young people dying every week due to cardiac arrest by providing funded defibrillator packages to UK schools. Having a defibrillator and CPR trained staff at a school can increase a child's chance of survival from 6% to 74%. Our Gold Defibrillator package provides a school with a semi-automatic defib, a training session for 8 members of staff, a life-saving skills lesson for 30 pupils and resources to plan lessons for students in the future.
