Historia

Handicap International is an aid organisation working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster. Currently working in 60 countries worldwide, our activities include rehabilitation, support for inclusion of disabled people in all aspects of daily life and the elimination of preventable causes of disability. We are co-winner of the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize for our work on the Mine Ban Treaty. Our vision is of a world where all disabled people can fully exercise their human rights.
