In 2020, because of the impact of Covid-19 our team, like many others, have been stuck working from home. And although our new home offices come with an unbeatable commute time, they have also resulted in way less physical activity. In an attempt to start next year off on the right foot, the Capgemini UK Salesforce practice will be undertaking a lengthy distance challenge to get ourselves moving and help a worthy cause at the same time. Throughout January members of our team will be striving to collectively travel 5,353 miles to support Cancer Central, with the distance representing the journey from Capgemini Holborn over to Salesforce HQ in San Francisco. Team members will be walking, running, cycling, swimming or even horse riding throughout the month to help reach our goal. For each mile travelled by the team, we hope to equal this with donations, hopefully resulting in £5,353 raised to support Cancer Central.
