Glusburn Institute was founded over 130 years ago, by mill owner Sir John Horsfall. Fast forward to the present day, we are still staying true Sir John's vision of providing a wellbeing and cultural venue for the local community. We are embarking on an ambitious but essential project to complete a programme of work on the building to safeguard its future, make accessibility improvements, renovate key areas to ensure its prosperity and longevity and secure a building which is of historical and architectural significance.
