GENCAD?s vision is to be an exemplary organization that contributes to the socio-economic development of pastoralist communities in the Horn of Africa. In the Horn of Africa, where pastoralist communities experience extreme poverty, lack of education, political and economic marginalization, GENCAD?s mission is to increase their access to educational opportunities, health services and to empower these communities to actively participate and take ownership of their socio-economic development.
