Before you read the rest of this page please take a moment out to watch this two minute video to understand why we are doing this! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w84oEbtZOHU On December 20th 2014 at 7:30p.m., Farhan Khalid and Farhan Arif, will be fighting in the one of the most highly anticipated (!) boxing fights of the year. We are not professional boxers and this is the first fight we have ever been involved in. Nevertheless, over the past weeks, we have been training, training, training; giving up the cakes, the fries and the rest and hitting the miles day in day out all for people who have had to give up a lot more; namely blood, as earlier this year they were subject to a two month long devastation with Israeli bombing destroying their families, communities and livelihoods. Water, Power, Basic shelter and food supplies destroyed; They rely on us and need our help. This particular project has been set up by Fitness4Life Boxing Gym and Ummah Welfare Trust to build a trauma centre in Gaza for children who need psycho-social support. No child should have to witness the relenting brutality that ripped through Gaza over those 50 days and continues to hinder their daily lives. As always with Ummah Welfare Trust, this project has a 100% donations policy. Every penny you donate to spur us on will go straight to the children of Gaza.
