Hi, my name is Gary. I'm 47 years old, not the fittest bloke you'll ever meet with a good dollop of middle age spread. I'm a taxi driver in the Portsmouth area. I recently went and had a look round The Willows Centre for children to see the good work they do to help children with all kinds of special needs.
So on 16th April 2015 I am cycling 68 miles round the Isle of Wight to raise money for SKiP(Special Kids in Portsmouth). This is a local charity run by The Willows Centre for children in North End, Portsmouth.
The range of needs of the children varies greatly from mainstream babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers to those with speech behavioural issues, autistic spectrum disorders and varying syndromes.
I hope to raise money to help fund new outdoor play equipment..
The bad news is it costs around 6000.
I would like to raise a minimum of 500.00
