Gargunnock’s 'Alternative Christmas Card' has raised over £20,000 for various charities over the years and this year our chosen charity is Stirling based Action in Mind. The ‘alternative card’ has become a bit of a village institution and its beauty lies in its simplicity! It’s really just a poster wishing everyone in Gargunnock a very Merry Christmas from everyone who has donated. It’s pinned to the notice board on Christmas Eve and will be included in the first edition of The Bugle in 2023. Remember, when you leave your message on this page to include all of the names from your family that you’d like mentioned on the Village Christmas Card. Action in Mind is a community mental health organisation which supports people - and their families and carers - with mental health issues and illnesses who live in the Forth Valley region. Things are extremely challenging for most at the moment so the vital mental health support services, such as those provided by Action in Mind, are more crucial than ever.
