We are raising £9,000 to finish the Garden Oasis. For those of you who don’t know, the garden has been designed to provide a quiet, peaceful and contemplative outside space where students can relax, read and learn in. There will also be a performance area for the Drama and Music departments. The garden is very nearly complete thanks to grants from Southwark Council, but the school would like to add the finishing touches including sets of garden furniture and storage sheds, a portable whiteboard, installation of electricity and lighting to facilitate recitals in the performance area, CCTV, garden equipment, bird boxes, bug hotels, and a wormery to encourage wildlife and seeds and bulbs for planting.
