Gail Kitchin passed away on 21 February 2015 from a long battle with ovarian cancer. Since her diagnosis, Gail was heavily involved with the Bristol Women's Voice Ovarian Cancer campaign and in March 2014 embarked on an intense local campaign as part of ovarian cancer awareness month.
Early identification of ovarian cancer is key for the prognosis of women diagnosed with this cancer, and as a result raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer is vital. Target Ovarian Cancer is a charity at the forefront of delivering this message, therefore if we can continue to help them achieve this in Gail's name it would be a great tribute to her.
