After 2 years of preliminary work, the YWR took delivery of its 2nd locomotive on Thursday 24 June 2021! The locomotive is an 0-6-0DH, Rolls Royce powered engine built by John Fowler & Co in 1966. We now need your help to bring the mechanical side back to life! Much work will need to be done including work on the engine, gearbox and electrical equipment. We estimate the work required will cost £6000, and we need your help. Thank you for your your support!
