Historia

The _Friends of the Royal United Hospital_ is a Registered Charity, with a Board of Trustees who ensure its success, act as a link with other bodies in the hospital and help to allocate the funds we raise. These funds do not go to the NHS as a body, but to individual wards and departments in response to requests. The funds come from donations and bequests, and from our retail outlets of the Shop and the Coffee Shop. Both of these places are managed by a few paid staff, but manned by volunteers.
