Help to restore the sight of people going blind! There is much poverty and eye operations cannot be paid for by many. Eye Camps are set up in the villages where people are examined and operated. Many are bussed to the base hospital. In the last year, April 2010 to March 2011 a total of 23,853 people came to these camps to be examined. Of these, 2,466 were operated, mainly to remove cataracts. A new wing is being built at present to extend the services of the hospital.
