Story

The Foundation of Light exists to involve, educate, inspire and motivate. It uses a universal love of football to bring people of all backgrounds together, to provide them with opportunities to flourish and grow, and to show what each of us can truly achieve when we are given a genuine sense of purpose, pride and belonging. The registered charity of Sunderland AFC, the Foundation of Light is structurally and financially independent of the football club and relies on fundraising for 95% project costs.
