I am running the Nike Run to the Beat 10k in Wembley. Having only run 10K once before about 6 years ago and currently not able to run further than 3K (unless there is something sweet at the other end of it!) you could say this is a bit of a challenge for me. So here I am requesting you give me a little bit of a push by donating to a small charity that needs your help. War Child UK are a charity that protect children caught up in conflicts and war zones across the world. War Child is a specialist agency. They work in countries devastated by armed conflict. They have the persistence and skill to help children suffering the worst effects of violence including child soldiers, victims of rape and abduction, disabled children and street children. They are often very close to the fighting, but still need to be committed to standing by children and families long enough to provide them the best possible assistance in overcoming their experiences. By donating even a small amount it will help War Child in their mission to provide a world where children are not torn apart by war.
