The advancement of education, learning and knowledge by the establishment (in Eyemouth and the seas and waterways adjacent thereto or elsewhere in the UK) of a collection of examples of the world's past and present sailing and man-propelled ships, boats, vessels and craft of working origin (including those used at sea and and in fresh water) and the equipment used therein.
