So I have decided to run the Cardiff Half Marathon on the 1st October 2017 for Heads Above The Waves, a Cardiff based not-for-profit organisation that works to raise awareness of depression and self harm in young people. Many people are affected by mental health issues throughout their life, and like so many I have had my own personal experiences and I know the importance of the ability to talk about what you are going through. Support networks are key and what HATWs are doing is incredible and I would love for them to be able to do more.
