On May 14th, I am running a half marathon to fundraise for PAFRAS, a Leeds-based organisation working with refugees and asylum seekers. Their amazing work involves advocacy and advice to help people out of destitution, as well as support and referral for those suffering from mental health problems. They hold weekly drop ins, distributing food parcels and hot meals, while also providing social activities and volunteering opportunities. Their work is so valuable and impacts upon so many, and I'm really excited to be fundraising for them.
