We are raising money to make Eid hampers which will include basic dry ingredients such as: olive oil, nuts, sugar, salt, flour with a fancy touch to make the baskets a treat for families/individuals to enjoy for Eid. Our volunteers add Eid cards and small gifts. As part of the project this year we would like to be able to purchase new clothing for the people for Eid as they cannot afford to clothe themselves or members of their families. We would also like to add more ingredients they can use to cook such as: meat, poultry, couscous and semolina. Our volunteers will despatch the hampers and clothes to the priority low-income families and individuals the organisation has registered all over London on Eid day to their home address. £10 donation = 1 x hamper or; £10 donation = 1 x outfit; £20 donation = 1 x hamper + 1 outfit + if you would like to give more every £10 added will clothe 1 extra person. The project had a huge success last year and photos of last years project can be seen on our Facebook page. We despatched a total of 80 baskets all across London. This year we are hoping the community would be able to help us reach our target to distribute many more and make more people happy on Eid day.
